Vivaha Parichay is a matrimonial service for adults. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse
and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind. This page sets out our standards,
how we enforce them, and how to report a concern. It applies to our Android app, iOS app and website.
Adults only
- Every member must be 18 or older, or older where the law of their country sets a higher age for marriage.
- A date of birth is required to create a profile, and we refuse any date of birth under 18.
- Profiles may not be created for anyone under 18 — including by parents or relatives. We do not facilitate child marriage in any form.
What is prohibited
Any account, content or behaviour that sexualises, exploits or endangers a child is prohibited, including:
- child sexual abuse material of any kind, real or generated, including sharing, requesting or linking to it;
- grooming, or any attempt to contact a minor for sexual purposes;
- sexualised content, comments or requests involving anyone under 18;
- sextortion, trafficking, or arranging the marriage of a minor.
Breaking these rules leads to immediate removal of the content and a permanent ban. See also our

How we prevent it
- Every account starts with a verified mobile number.
- Every profile photo is automatically screened before any other member can see it. Photos the system is unsure about are held for review by our team.
- Success stories are reviewed by our team before they are published. Nothing is published automatically.
- Messaging between members is text only, and phone numbers and other contact details in messages are hidden.
- Members can block anyone, at any time.
How to report a concern
In the app or on the website: open the profile, tap Report this profile, and choose
Appears to be under 18 or Inappropriate photo or content. Reports are confidential —
the other member is not told who reported them.
By email (with or without an account): write to [email protected] with the subject
Child safety. Please include the profile name or link, and what you saw. Do not attach or forward any
abusive image — describe it and tell us where it is.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police first (112 in India). You can also report
online child sexual abuse material to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at
cybercrime.gov.in.
What we do when we receive a report
- Reports that someone is under 18 are treated as urgent. The photos on the reported profile can be hidden straight away while we review, and our team is alerted if a report is not dealt with quickly.
- Content that breaks these standards is removed, and the account is suspended or permanently banned. A banned mobile number cannot be used to sign up again.
- We report child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the appropriate authorities, including law enforcement in India as required by the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, and preserve the information the law requires.
- We cooperate fully with law-enforcement requests about child safety.
